The new Nokia 5800 Black Silver is the third edition of Nokia’s popular Xpress Music series. In this latest incarnation of the successful series, Nokia has installed a 3.2 inch touch screen that touts 16 million colors, 640 X 360 pixels , and has an included stylus. The stylus can be used in various applications as a point and click tool, but also serves as integral tool for writing notes and messages. This phone has handwriting recognition to make the relationship between man and machine a little more intimate. Jot down a line, and watch it translate to neat bits of information that can be accessed and easily read at any time; great for scheduling or just making notes to yourself.
The Nokia 5800 has high speed internet access which allows you to view web pages just like you’d see them on your pc; with the touch of a key, you can zoom in and out while viewing web sites, and when zooming, the text will instantly resize to fit your screen. Also, the browser will automatically save your browsing history, so you can quickly return to a site with just one tap. With the included Nokia Maps 2.0 program, you can view maps for 150 countries around the world. Search for addresses and points of interest around the world and use the Nokia 5800 Black Silver to plot your course to them.
This phone isn’t all business though; listen to your favorite music collection while traveling, or even watch television on the crystal clear screen. It also features a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus and Carl Zeiss optics for snapping high quality shots on the go. The camera features a dual LED flash, for catching photos in all levels of light as well as video recording capabilities, with lots of built in space to save video and pictures especially after adding an SD memory card that can expand the memory to a massive 16 GB.
Through its’ built-in USB connector, the Nokia 5800 Black Silver is Bluetooth compatible for no-strings-attached communications. For the music buff, it offers unique capabilities to sit back and enjoy when working out, jogging, working or just relaxing.
